On November 28, 2019, the 2nd day of the foundation week celebration started with a bang from the different artistic, colorful float parade of the different teams, costumes of the participating candidates to the excitement of the whole J-Jireh Community . The parade was participated by the members of the GPTA, some alumni, visitors, parents and pupils. Its route started from the school campus passing through Lower Calarian, then J-Johnston St., Baliwasan Tabuk, then San Jose Gusu, back to J-Jireh School campus. The route was shorter than the previous years. The parade was able to showcase the talents and creativity of the three teams. After reaching the school, the students were given a short break before the opening program. The traditional lighting of the torch was conducted and the torch bearer for this year was Jaeden Lloyd Balayo, a decorated athlete in the field of swimming and the proclamation of the official opening of the week-long celebration. After the ceremony, the school band then played its playlists and was able to entertain and amazed the cheering crowd. Right after the performance of the school band, the banner raising contest was started as represented by the three competing teams which started the different activities and games . The Red Team won the first competition. As everything was set, the torch was lighted, and the banners of the three competing teams were raised. It symbolizes the beginning of the week-long event. In the afternoon of the same day, the Field demonstration competition and the Dance Sport competition was conducted. The winner for the field demonstration was the Red Team and the winner for the dance sports competition was the Gold Team. It was such an amazing day, and it was only the beginning of a series of the week-long activities.
