Personnel of the 6th Air Reserve Center (ARCen), 61st Air Force Group Reserve (AFGR) and Civil Military Operations Group (CMOG) in coordination with J-Jireh Gospel Church conducted an Outreach Program for the 70 indigent families of Zone 8, Brgy Zambowood, Zamboanga City who were also very much affected by the effect of the COVID19 pandemic last June & June 20, 2020. They volunteered to distribute grocery items and 1 box of hygiene kit for each of the families. They were assisted by the community’s assigned social worker, Mrs. Maada Abraham.
Indeed, in this time of worldwide crisis, the selfless act of “giving back” for the general welfare is really heart-warming! We are pretty much sure that the impact of the said civic action will be remembered by those who have witnessed, received, and felt the genuine appreciation of the act of kindness.
It is our prayer that there will be more who will also take the road they have trodden by helping in one way or the other, to create impact, and make a difference by supporting and empowering the future leaders of our respective unit or organization. (credits to AFRC Laang Kawal Page)
