On the 27th day of November, 2019, the annual celebration of J-Jireh School’s Foundation week commenced. The school celebrates this annual event as a sign of thanksgiving for the unending grace that God has bestowed upon us and for the continuous existence of the school. Prior to this week, tremendous efforts for the preparation has been committed by all the students, faculty and staff, and as well as the parents. And so it started. On its first day, the school had a Thanksgiving mass which was attended by all the students and the school personnel. The speaker for that day was Ptr. Guillermo Tejero . He was able to deliver a very wonderful speech which was anchored on the theme, “Closer to God, closer to one another.” After the message, the children proceeded to the giving of their offerings as a sign of thanksgiving. The praise and worship team then offered a very wonderful song. Right after the mass, the students were then allowed to go home for the preparation for the upcoming parade on the next day. In the afternoon of the 27th, the participating teams, Gold, Red, and Blue, prepared for their floats. They worked overnight for the wonderful floats to be produced. There were a total of 8 floats which participated for the parade.
